After a really busy week I managed to get into the garden for an hour and do a bit of ‘nurturing the plants’ after picking the tomatoes and beans I picked a whole bunch of herbs.  I had some great Cornish seasalt in the cupboard so I decided to make a foot scrub, this turned into a body scrub and before I knew it I was up to my neck in warm relaxing bath water…mmm half an hour of bliss.  This is my recipe for your ‘free’ spa body treatment.. hope you enjoy it.

  • Chop a selection of herbs I love mint, parsley, thyme and lavender flowers in a food processor or by hand, (if you don’t have fresh herbs use dried ones) to a  of herbs add 2 or 3 tablespoons of sunflower or olive oil and two table spoons of sea salt, then mix together.
  • Run a warm bath (pour yourself a glass of your favourite drink) start rubbing the herb mixture gently in circular motions on to your body from your feet up.  Slip into the bath, (haha) and relax with slices of cucumber on your eyes and enjoy a bit of quiet time, even if it’s only for 5 minutes your body will feel great.
  • Shower off with warm water and pat your skin dry then lie down on your bed and enjoy the drink you poured earlier. Bliss!
